With a great support from our Collaborators, Sponsors and Organizing Committee, Arjyopa Healthcare had successfully completed the 8th Edition of World Cancer Congress – 2024 which was held from 18th – 20th March, 2024 at JNU Convention Centre, JNU Campus, New Delhi, India. The theme of this year conference was “Integrative Medicine and Translation Research in Cancer”.
The Conference was organized under the leadership (Chairman) of Dr. K. S. Gopinath (Padmashri Awardee), Senior Oncologist and Director, HCG and Dr. G. K. Rath (Chairman-Scientific Committee), Senior Radiation Oncologist and Retd. Head, NCI, AIIMS, New Delhi.
Over 1000+ delegates from 20+ countries gathered in Capital City of India to listen to the advances made by many around the world in preventing and treating cancer. The Congress design facilitated discussion, debate, challenge and interaction and all delegates left inspired by the content and the sense of ambition and hope from the world leaders in cancer control programme and on various advances in cancer research.
The 8th WCC prestigious summit was inaugurated by Dr. G. P. Talwar (Padma Bhushan Awardee), Retd. Head, Dept. of Biochemistry, AIIMS, New Delhi followed by the below dignitaries.
The 8th WCC has also witnessed welcome speech from our Chief Guest Hon’ble Minister Shri. Ashwini Kr. Choubey, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
The 8th WCC has received 600+ Abstracts and out of which we have hosted 16 Keynote Speech, 120 Invited Speech, 115 Oral Presentation and 165 Poster Presentations.
The 8th WCC has hosted around 30 sessions in all the 3 days which covers all the key topics of cancer (Cancer Tumors, Oncology, Role of AI in Cancer, Breast Cancer, Cancer Biomarkers, Robotic Oncology, Head and Neck Cancer, Sarcoma, Cancer Drug Market etc.).
The Congress also featured Tracks covering the breadth of challenges faced in improving cancer control at a global, regional and national level. Participants enjoyed traditional Keynote Speech from Industry leaders and from the senior cancer researchers, ‘Big Debates’ on hot topics in cancer control and various rapid fire abstract presentations.
