The Young Investigator Award is designed to inspire, recognize,
and support the next generation of cancer researchers who are shaping the future
of oncology, early detection, and cancer prevention.
The Young Investigator Forum provides a unique opportunity for early-career
researchers to present innovative research, exchange ideas, learn from senior
scientists, and build global collaborations. These sessions encourage scientific
excellence, mentorship, and multidisciplinary growth.

Platform for Emerging Scientists
Dedicated sessions for young investigators to present cutting-edge
cancer research and gain international exposure.
Short Oral Presentations
Selected participants will deliver a 12-minute oral presentation
followed by a 3-minute Q&A with expert panel members.
Mentorship & Career Growth
Engage with senior investigators, learn about funding opportunities,
research tools, and career development pathways.

Eligibility Criteria
- Post-Graduate Students, Post-Doctoral Fellows, Trainees, Junior Faculty
- Participants must be below 33 years of age
- Research topic must align with WCC-2027 scientific sessions
- Only one abstract submission per participant (first or co-author)
- Demonstrated interest in education, research, and career development

- Scientific quality and originality
- Impact and relevance of the research
- Innovation and future potential
- Poster presentation and interaction with the evaluation panel
Awards & Recognition
The top two abstracts scoring highest will be shortlisted prior
to the event. One winner will be honored with the
Young Investigator Award during the
10th World Cancer Congress – 2027 in Mumbai.

- Abstract for presentation during the summit
